Having the ability to capture what seems like a simple image, yet provides happiness and awe to those who see it is what keeps my passion for photography going, that and the adventure of venturing off the beaten track and in to the unknown.
I first began shooting in 2017 whilst travelling around Japan on my first overseas holiday, having more money then sense, I lashed out and brought a canon 100D which at the time was decently priced, but being excited and thinking to much about being able to show the world all the "cool" things is was doing overseas, reality quickly struck that I had made what seemed at the time a big mistake. I did what everyone in this current generation does and took to youtube, there I learnt to understand the settings and what they meant. from that point I started to discover different photographers as well as styles of photography and from there my true passion was sparked.
originally being from Western Australia and living my whole life there till I was 21, living in a multitude of locations that is sometimes frowned upon due to the constant moving around and change of location, I found a strong interest in wanting to see well, pretty much everything, currently residing on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays off the east coast of Australia, being aged 26, I have the world at my doorstep, here I have had the chance to meet some amazing people as well as become a part of the local camera club where I have found friends with a strong interest much like my own, makes for constant excitement and never a dull day.
ask my friends and they would laugh as much as myself when asked about being creative but yet again I had proven myself wrong, photography opened my eyes about what is really out there and going on in this world, capturing and portraying my interpretation. it opened the door to travel and new experiences that I would never have thought existed.
landscape, travel, adventure and astrophotography is where I have found my calling to be, come with me on a journey as I venture the world like many other amazing people and let you see it through my eyes.
